Eyes:
At 15 months, my eye doctor noticed that Zoe's eye was wandering outward and recommended we send tell her pediatrician so we did and she went to Riley and saw a pediatric opthlamologist and they said she had exotropia so we patched for three months and it didn't seem to change so they said come back in at 3.
Present day: age 3: Took Zoe to see Dr. Gerber up in South Bend and they dilated her eyes and had her look at a bunch of stuff and in different directions (very kid friendly!) and then put a bunch of lenses in her eyes and used this miner hat to shine a light through it or something and found out she is farsighted in the wandering eye and a little farsighted in the other eye. So she needed glasses and got them today. By December, she has to wear them full time.
Growth:
Zoe was a premie and was only 5lb 11oz/18in at birth. So she's never been tall or bigger. So Zoe at her 3 year well child measured really small for the chart and going backwards (5% to 3% to 0%) so we had to see a Riley endocrinologist today after doing a TON of blood work and X-rays. Her wrist xray showed her bone age was 2 instead of 3. She tested negative for growth hormone problems but tested positive for Celiac Disease. So I am now in the process of learning to be gluten free.
