Finally back from our super long vacation

We went Chicagoland (Lisle/Naperville) to Elkhart (for Halloween) to Patoka's Edge (southern Indiana) and both of us got sick (cold/flu) and I am finally almost over mine and Ian is in the middle of his. And we are staying put (at least until the holidays).

In Chicagoland, Ian went to his conference all day (Oct. 28/29) and I went to Morton's Arborteum (a tree museum). I hiked around and read my book (Kathy Griffin's biography). Then we had Chicago style pizza in Naperville. And then the next day Ian had a half-day conference so I went back to the Arborteum and he joined me later. It was nice. We stayed in a HUGE Hyatt.
